Position Overview

This IT platform owner supports multiple business units in their Deltek Vision ERP needs. The ERP Specialist will support requests, build processes and tools that will ensure that system users get the information they need through system reporting, and access to the data through properly configured access roles and application security.   

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to assigned tickets as an escalation point person for internal customers requiring IT platform support on the Deltek Vision platform
  • Consult internal users on, create, update, and support reports that preset information from the platform
  • Create workflow processes and customization of dashboards and reporting
  • Participate in the design, development, and operational enhancements for Deltek Vision
  • Designing, supporting, and ensuring accuracy of new data imports and exports
  • Assist in the develop standards for data analysis, the development of reports and provide summaries and feedback to management
  • Project Management/Resource Planning
  • Develop workflows and customize the program to meet company needs
  • Document and develop technical process manuals, and/or SOPs for help desk efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution to any issues within Deltek Vision
  • Record trainings and update training videos to supplement the Deltek Learning Zone
  • 20-30% Travel

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Business/Finance/Accounting, Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or combination of training and professional experience
  • 2+ years of system management and troubleshooting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in ERP Systems
  • Minimum 1 year experience using SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Minimum 1 year experience using SQL Server Management Studio
  • Proficient in Excel (Formulas, Charts, VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, Formatting), basic proficiency in Word, Outlook
  • Ability to easily and simply communicate both written and orally with key stakeholders
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy and design to corresponding specification
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and be self-directed with workload
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and requirements accordingly
  • Certifications: MCSE, NETWORK +, ITIL, COBIT, VCP-DCV
  • Cloud and data center disaster recovery
  • ITIL experience

Travel Requirements

● This position requires occasional domestic overnight travel, approximately 10% to 20% of the time, to support
business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on
project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be
conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is
required during travel and on-site work

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring flexibility to work effectively from both a
    professional office and a home office setting, and the ability to communicate and collaborate seamlessly in both
    virtual and in-person environments.
  • Remote Work Requirements:
    • Must maintain a professional home office with reliable internet access and minimal distractions.
    • Work is conducted using a computer, phone, and virtual collaboration tools.
    • Employees are expected to manage multiple tasks independently, participate in virtual meetings, and
      meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
    • Home office setup must support consistent productivity and professional video/audio communication.
  • On-Site Office Requirements:
    • Work is performed at a desk for extended periods using a computer, phone, and standard office
      equipment in a climate-controlled office environment.
    • Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required.
    • Physical demands may include sitting for long durations, occasional standing, walking, bending, and
      lifting of materials up to 15 pounds.
