The Accounting Specialist I provides basic accounting and administrative support to the Accounting & Finance
team. Responsibilities include recording transactions, maintaining financial records, and assisting with standard
Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) functions under direct supervision.
● Record basic transactions and create general ledger journal entries with oversight.
● Assist with account reconciliations and resolve routine discrepancies.
● Collect, scan, file, and maintain financial documents, reports, and records.
● Support the processing of vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings.
● Respond to standard questions from internal teams regarding payment and billing inquiries.
● Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and compliance reporting.
● Complete assigned special projects and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
● Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial information.
● High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
● 1–4 years of accounting or administrative experience.
● Basic understanding of accounting principles and AP/AR processes.
● Comfort with accounting or ERP systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
● Ability to work independently on routine tasks with minimal supervision.
● Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
● This position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional
travel may be required, up to 10%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or
company events. Travel, when necessary, will be communicated in advance and aligned with business
needs.
