Want to join a team that is fast-growing, South Texas-focused, and passionate about client service? 

UES seeks a Business Development Representative to join our growing firm. This salaried position will join our current Texas Sales/Business Development team of twenty and is part of a larger national network of sales professionals totaling 100+. As a part of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for generating new work through lead services and fostering client relationships through outside sales, in-office development, and marketing activities. The position is salaried, located in the Corpus Christi market and will report to the Business Development Manager. You will assume a position with existing client relationships and established required activities. Paid training will be provided in both sales/business development and in our engineering profession. 

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and execute face to face (In person & Virtual) sales meetings 
  • Assist with internal proposal processes 
  • Identify and qualify prospective clients 
  • Identify and pursue major potential projects through contract execution 
  • Assist with marketing events 
  • Attend select networking events 
  • Attend occasional evening and weekend events 
  • Local travel for sales meetings 

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in a marketing discipline (or equal combination).
● Ability to foster and maintain good relationships at all levels, with prior supervisory experience.
● Comfort with industry technologies, as well as standard office and collaboration software.
● Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to deliver and communicate goals, programs, and
solutions.
● Highly adaptable with exceptional listening, reading, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, Science, Construction or a related field 
  • 3+ years of work experience 
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Teams 
  • Valid Driver’s License, and good driving record 
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, Spanish speaking a plus 
  • Demonstrable desire to enter the sales field 
  • Demonstrable phone and interpersonal skills
