Inside Sales Representative

• Generate leads through cold calling, internet searches, lead subscription services, networking, and emailing potential clients
• Follow up with outbound calls and emails
• Qualify prospects to determine their needs
• Manage the sales pipeline within our tracking system
• Meet/exceed monthly quotas
• Provide follow-up of proposals and leads
• Collaborate with team members to optimize sales strategies
• Assist in preparing and processing proposals, bids, and contracts
• Manage and update customer and project databases (e.g., CRM systems)
• Track and coordinate the progress of sales leads, opportunities, and follow-ups
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing timely and accurate information
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and presentations between clients and sales representatives
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales process
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and project management teams to align on sales strategies
• Work with finance and legal teams to ensure proper documentation of contracts and agreements
• Manage calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files related to sales activities
• Assist in coordinating trade shows, conferences, and other sales events
• Handle administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and periodic sales training as needed
• Provide customer service support as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)
• Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of sales processes, contracts, and proposals
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, or client meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• Previous experience in an administrative or sales support role, ideally within the AEC industry

• Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear
• Standing or sitting for extended periods of time may be required
• Lifting and/or moving up to ten pounds is expected
• The noise level is usually moderate
