Responsibilities

As a Construction Materials Principal Engineer, you strive to lead both your team and your profits. You have a dynamic and extensive background in the CMT field and are capable of completing an array of different tasks. The consulting side of our business is what you thrive on; CMT, project management, investigations, and reviews have made up a large portion of your career. The junior and senior engineering staff looks to you for mentoring both technically and in building client relationships. Your positive interactions with clients as well as business development skills contribute tremendously to the success of UES.

  • Managing and mentoring of CMT/geotechnical engineering staff
  • Working with both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical team and projects
  • Senior-level review and preparation of reports
  • Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services
  • Construction Materials Testing in a consulting setting
  • Taking the lead in marketing and business development
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • 20+ years  of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) or Geotechnical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
  • Team leading/ management experience preferred
